The purpose of the Graphics Designer is to manage and execute the graphical design and production of member communication and non-member outreach, maintaining brand standards, through all available marketing channels. These channels include, but are not limited to: collateral, brochures, direct mail, inserts, InLighten, website, kits, sales support and newsletters.
Additionally, will oversee member eNewsletters and non-member acquisition e-mail blasts as well as general upkeep of email lists.

Oversee member eNewsletters and non-member acquisition e-mail blasts as well as general upkeep of email lists.

Maintain department portfolios for recording and reference purposes (presentation or repeat programs)

RESPONSIBILITY AND DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY:
This position is responsible for providing the first level of review on proofs provided by vendors to move forward with production.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Expert use of MAC and related design software such as InDesign, Quark Xpress, Photoshop, Illustrator
Expert print/production skills with the ability to create layouts for production
Must be extremely strong in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Professional telephone manner
Strong interpersonal/written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Flexibility in hours and duties
Ability to identify and integrate new technology services and applications
Ability to interact and coordinate with outside vendors
Knowledge of email software and design
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BA in Graphic Arts or Communication Arts
InDesign and Photoshop knowledge is a must; HTML is helpful but not a requirement for hire
1 - 3 years related experience
Up to 6 months
If not proficient in HTML, this would take the longest to learn as it is computer code/language
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
