Develop and leverage subject matter expertise in all areas of the Credit Union's ERM risks.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the credit unions risk framework, supporting policies and procedures.
This includes the implementation and maintenance of key ERM programs (e.
g.
Risk Assessment, Reportable Events, New Products Approval Process, Risk Appetite, Key Risk Indicators) Identify significant operational processes across the credit union for evaluation of design and controls.
Update, analyze and manage risk and control library and mappings in the Credit Union's GRC system based on new/modified process, policies and procedures.
Work with business areas to analyze, rate and mitigate significant risks by ensuring controls, standards, and processes are defined, designed, and implemented.
Coordinate, map and facilitate risk assessments across the various business areas.
Assist management in the identification, tracking, reporting and maintenance of the Credit Union's Reportable Events program by gathering information from multiple data sources for root cause analysis, rating and evaluation.
Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of Management and Board reporting.
Liaise with Risk counterparts on projects, risk evaluations, mitigation efforts and reporting requirements for management, committees and board.
Work with management to design and deliver educational, training or other materials to support desired organizational risk management frame work and culture.
Support other risk management functions, committees, policy and governance framework.
Computer skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Visio a must.
Experience Required 1 - 3 years:
1-3 years experience in a financial institution with a related area of focus Risk Management, Audit or Compliance Ability to work independently and effectively in a continually changing environment, strong critical thinking, problem solving and writing skills, strong technical and data relationship skills, strong interpersonal communication skills to work with peers, management and external parties, must be detailed oriented, organized and a team player.
Education Preferred Bachelors or better in Business Bachelors or better in Risk Management and Insurance Skills Preferred Critical Thinking Strategic Thinking Analytical Behaviors Preferred Detail Oriented:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
