Sales Professionals guide customers through the sales journey, from education to contract finalization.
Additionally, Sales Professionals handle clerical tasks, such as phone or video sales, both from their home office and at the customer's residence.
The sales team is comprised of a Director of Sales, Sales Manager and a team of 10 Sales Professionals.
We are looking for experienced B2C Sales Professionals to add to our growing team.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively seek new sales avenues and encourage referrals from clients.
Foster relationships with potential customers.
Draft and finalize sales proposals.
Engage homeowners with presentations and proposal discussions.
Identify and implement the best financing and system designs for clients.
Manage multiple customer expectations and oversee the entire sales process.
Deepen understanding of the solar industry, focusing on its technical, financial, and legislative aspects.
Collaborate with the EmPower team to meet collective objectives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Proven track record demonstrating closing abilities.
Exceptional organizational skills; proficient in managing multiple relationships simultaneously.
Proactive and self-motivated.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Respects and adapts to new processes and procedures.
Proficient in Google and Microsoft software suites.
A familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM 2
References Experience in insurance, auto or retail sales.
SALES OBJECTIVES Convert at least 25% of opportunities into sales.
Generate a minimum of 4 sales opportunities monthly through self-generated efforts and referrals within half a year.
Secure a minimum of 4 sales every month within a 6-month timeframe.
Cultivate and maintain strong ties with a steady clientele or influential network.
Adhere to industry-standard sales techniques, such as:
Initiating introductory calls for all new prospects.
Actively seeking and nurturing referrals from both new and current clients.
Ensure an exceptional customer journey for potential clients, as reflected in high net promoter scores and positive customer feedback.
POSITION & COMPENSATION Type:
Full-time telecommuting role, with an expected 45-50 hours/week.
Occasional visits to Bethpage office are required.
Compensation:
Base salary plus uncapped commission, with estimated annual earnings ranging from $75k to $150k.
