The Environmental Service Aide's primary responsibility is to maintain a clean environment for all patients, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities of the Environmental Service Aide include:
Routine cleaning of all patient rooms, misc.
areas, offices, public areas and public restrooms, all hallways, elevators and staircases and waste removal.
The employee puts an emphasis on Infection Control procedures and Customer Service.
The employee also performs such other related duties as may be assigned or required with emphasis on hand hygiene and patient confidentiality.
Requirements for the Environmental Service Aide include:
High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience is required Must be able to speak and understand English1 year of EVS experience in a healthcare setting preferred The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
