We are currently looking for an IT Asset Analyst to work in our busy Information Technology & Support group. This position is located in our Bethpage, Long Island corporate headquarters location. We offer free shuttle bus service 4x a day for those who commute via the LIRR.
The IT Asset Analyst will be responsible for assisting the EIT Asset Management Team in ensuring that asset management data related to the acquisition, deployment and retirement of Cablevision's IT related hardware and software assets are collected and documented accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities include: Collect, audit, analyze, categorize and track hardware and software assets throughout their life cycle. Process the disposal of decommissioned IT assets. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Upon request, generate IT asset management reports. Perform onsite asset inventories and related audits at various Cablevision offices within the United States. Assist management in defining opportunities for process improvement. Response to internal customer requests.
o 4
years of experience, preferably with IT Asset Management expereince.
o 4
years using Microsoft Office with the ability to create complex reports in Excel with data imported from other applications.
o Ticket request/help desk management skills.
o Working knowledge of Mac and Windows based PCs.
o Driven and results oriented team player with excellent time management skills.
o Strong analytical and organizational skills.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to take direction and work independently.
