We are currently looking for a Campus Recruiter to be based out of our Bethpage, Long Island corporate headquarters.
The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for implementing recruiting strategies, coordinating all on-campus recruiting activities and involved in the recruitment and selection of candidates for designated areas.
Responsibilities include:
oMaintain relationships with business, Human Resources and Career Services centers.
oProvide guidance and assistance to hiring managers with regard to recruitment activities including recruitment strategies, interviewing procedures, job posting and selection. Responsible for: recruitment of applicants through on-campus recruitment, execution of intern programs, interviews with prospective candidates, administration of employment testing, candidate reference checks, compliance with drug-testing, job offers, new hire processing, etc.
oResponsible for performing any and all administrative tasks related to on-campus recruitment activity, maintaining candidate tracking and onboarding, and execution of intern programs ensuring tasks are completed fully, in a timely manner, and in line with company standards and policies.
oResponsible for meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis. Responsible for performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Cablevision policies and procedures.
-Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
-Two or more years of experience as a Recruiter, preferably within a telecommunications, media or high-technology environment or related industry.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to interface in a professional manner with all levels of management and external candidates.
-Must be PC literate, including proficiency in office software with a strong emphasis on Word-processing and spreadsheet applications with ability to learn additional programs.
-Must be familiar with current laws/legal requirements concerning recruitment and employment, EEO, ADA, labor relations, etc.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to adapt to changing work environment.
-Ability to be a resourceful problem solver.
-Must be able to maintain accuracy and ensure exceptional customer service while working on multiple tasks.
-Able to work varying hours, and travel when necessary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
