SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Web Designer/Developer will provide insight into the design and development of Bethpage Federal Credit Union digital communication channels. Responsibilities include the creation of images, graphics and HTML elements that support the front end website, e-mail, social, online/mobile banking and other digital mediums as necessary. The Web Designer/Developer will combine their UI design and development skills to help create and maintain online channels and interfaces. As part of the Digital Enterprise Strategy Team, the Web Designer/Developer will produce, proof, test, and troubleshoot effective e-mail and web assets that adhere to corporate marketing and branding standards.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Design and update site pages and features, ensuring brand consistency across all channels
Design new site enhancements, including updates to navigation, search, as well as architectures, user interface, and overall customer experience
Integrate the front-end design with back-end functionality
Conceptualize, create and implement intuitive, engaging and brand consistent e-mail communications & promotions
Proactively organize and optimize work-flow, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
Collaborate successfully with other creative designers, copywriters and business owners
Design, develop, test and deliver web sites, applications and components.
Creation of site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
EXPERIENCE
Solid design and web production skills grounded in best practices for web design, mobile design and UX design.
Online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating graphical assets for web and mobile applications.
Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML & CSS
Clean sense of design aesthetics, and a natural propensity towards simplification over complication
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

years of web and graphic design experience required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO are required Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
