We are currently looking for a Senior Director, Learning Design who will be responsible for leading a team designing the instructional design of new employee orientation, job skills, and management and leadership development training programs through needs assessment, program development, and train-the-trainer. This highly visiible position will design and identify best-in-class, sustainable blended learning solutions (courses, readings, modules or activities) in response to business needs, incorporating various methods (classroom, webcasts, webinars, virtual seminars, on-line networks). The Sr. Director will collaborate heavily with Learning Leadership, Business Leadership and HR Leadership to ensure relevant and connected curriculum while enabling and driving cultural change to further Cablevision's success. Responsibilities and accountabilities will include: developing and managing strategies to evaluate the effectiveness, progress, and areas of opportunity for learning programs, preparing and manages annual Learning project budget and timelines to deliver training programs on time and within budget. Key competencies needed for this role include leading vision and purpose, developing others, dealing with ambiguity, influencing others and must have a passion for results. The right candidate will be able to have the ability to differentiate when something is a training issue versus another issue, and bring the business along with them, offering multiple solutions.
Bachelor's Degree required in Education, Business, Communications or related field. Master's Degree in Education, Adult Learning and/or Organizational Development preferred.
Minimum ten years demonstrated success with increasing responsibility and various assignments in learning and development: program management, instructional design, training delivery, performance improvement, leadership development. Position requires people management responsibility.
Commitment to craft: preferred involvement in learning & development professional associations
Telecommunications, CPG or retail experience with training design accountabilities a plus
Change management and team development required
Consulting experience a plus
Strong project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Position will work collaboratively with all departments within corporate office and the field.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the organization including Senior Leadership.
Ability to effectively facilitate small and large group learning sessions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
