We are hiring an MSG Varsity Marketing Plan Manager who will be responsible for marketing communications, school outreach and social media, brand management, and assisting MSG Varsity's Director of Marketing and Operations in developing and executing network strategy. The MSG Varsity Plan Manager handles the overall marketing plan and all associated marketing programs to achieve viewership goals, enhance awareness levels and improve viewership and churn metrics. He/she will be the core liaison with school contacts, securing game schedules and brand integration on school websites. The position covers the entire tri-state area, in the Optimum footprint, and focuses on high school sports such as football, soccer, baseball, wrestling, lacrosse and others.
The individual will work with internal and external advertising agencies to develop and execute core marketing campaign and support tactics. The MSG Varsity Plan Manager will ensure timely and accurate implementation of marketing tactics by managing the day-to-day project execution of campaigns, marketing calendar, projects and programs. Additionally, s/he is responsible for timely delivery, quality of deliverables, and that the creative delivers on the marketing objectives and strategies.
Oversees MSG Varsity Marketing Manager who supports and executes social media strategy and campaigns. The MSG Varsity Plan Manager is responsible for:
? Creating a positive impression to further a self-driven point of view.
? ? Contributing new ideas to foster continual improvement and strengthening of Cablevision's brand and product offerings.
? Developing strategic marketing programs in support of product objectives that increase retention and overall customer engagement including advertising, promotions and collateral.
? Identifying opportunities through marketing communications plans to achieve established goals and objectives.
? Tracking performance and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing programs.
? Collaborating with Research and Product Management to continually improve plans to meet and exceed marketing objectives.
? Partnering with Marketing and Advertising Directors to integrate and rationalize the Marketing plan as needed.
? Working with creative services and/or advertising agencies to identify brand, and oversee implementation and consistency of brand name and attributes.
? Oversee, lead and develop MSG Varsity Marketing Manager.
? Ensure that Marketing Plan delivers maximum viewership at a minimum cost with a sequenced, non-invasive customer experience.
Bachelor Degree required; 3
years of related experience
Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives.
Proven ability to understand and respond effectively to activity interdependencies with a focus on customer service.
Demonstrated creativity in contributing new ideas to ensure the continual improvement and strengthening of the brand.
Experience managing multiple marketing programs and advertising campaigns.
Ability to seek out and analyze data and trends to identify opportunities and maximize lead production.
Project management skills and ability to successfully complete projects on-time and on-budget.
Experience working cross-functionally.
Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and a team player that can build consensus across multiple constituencies.
Experience in a communications company and/or sports industry
Understanding of sports is critical to this role
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
