Altice USA is looking for a Mobile Engineer who can implement, manage and support Altice USA Mobile Core network including but not limiting to: HSS/HLR STP/DRA and Signaling EPC / PGW / ePDG VoLTE / VoWiFi LTE and GSM Roaming Device Manager and Entitlement Servers Offline Mediation OTA and SIM card management Policy Control and Charging function Mobile Roaming (GSM, CS, PS, LTE) Participate in the operations of the mobile network and services (Level-2 and Level-3).
Perform network optimization tasks.
Participate in departmental projects including mobile core infrastructure and other mobile services deployment.
This position can be located in either Bethpage, NY or Long Island City.
Bachelors or Masters in Electrical, Electronical, Computer Science or Telecom Engineer 1-2 years of relevant experience Understanding of the fundamentals of IP and Wireless networks and its security protocols.
Knowledge of wireless network technologies.
Wireless: CDMA, GSM, WCDMA, LTE, Wi-Fi, Roaming IP Networks: IP, TCP, routing protocols, NAT, tunneling Security: 802.
1x, filtering, firewall rules Core: SDM, STP/DRA, EPC, MSS, IMS VAS: OCS, SMS, OTA, ADM, Steering Good written and oral communication skills Ability to learn

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
