Job Description Summary
Manages a team of Maintenance Engineers and performs a broad range of repair and maintenance services across multiple locations, properties, and building types (retail, office, & industrial) with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Team members typically consist of 10-15 Maintenance Engineers, and the scope of services include mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, inspections, preventative maintenance, and other miscellaneous repair and maintenance projects. Accountable for leading an engaged team while ensuring that a client relationships and assets are professionally maintained. Ensures that job requirements are performed according to safety standards, emphasizing quality workmanship, and exceeding expectations for client satisfaction. Responsible for performing job requirements in a timely, productive, and efficient manner to provide value to the company and the client. Focuses on leading a productive and efficient team while proactively managing the client's assets to maintain safe environments, business continuity, optimum operating results, and energy efficiency.
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Building, mentoring, and managing a highly engaged, productive, and accountable team of Maintenance Engineers.
Interacting with the client to maintain positive relationships, thorough communication, and support of the company's value proposition.
Professionally maintain and repair buildings and assets within an assigned portfolio of locations, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, inspections, preventative maintenance, and other miscellaneous repair and maintenance projects.
Perform job requirements, and ensure team member compliance to all safety standards.
Emphasize quality workmanship and task completion.
Engage with client's personnel and customers in a professional manner, including proficient communication skills and adherence to policies for appearance and identification badges.
Oversee performance to meet or exceed all contractual requirements for key performance indicators and service level agreements.
Perform facility inspections and due diligence reports.
Respond effectively to all emergencies.
Functionality with mobile technology, computers, and CMMS/work order systems to properly manage workflow, as well as accurate documentation of all assignments, timecards, and reporting.
Exhibit a willingness to be knowledgeable and innovative with new and evolving systems and equipment, including building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and any other new technologies.
Maintain compliance to state, county, or city ordinances, codes, or laws.
Must be willing and able to support after-hours building related activity as required.
Participate in safety, and technical training programs.
Operate and maintain a company vehicle and tools, ensuring care and accountability to prolong the useful life of the assets.
Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of a manager and maintenance engineer.
Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with all aspects of maintenance engineering, including a strong background of mechanical equipment, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, inspections, preventative maintenance, and other miscellaneous repair and maintenance projects.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with managing employees.
Four-year degree or vocation/technical school certificate.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license, as well as a consistent safe driving record.
Ability to proficiently perform work to company's expectations, as well as client's standards, while meeting or exceeding all contractual performance measurements.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with integrity and credibility.
Client/customer relationship management skills.
Willingness to travel and oversee multiple locations within a region.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
