Content Operations Specialist

The Content Specialists primary focus is to partner with Programming, Operations, Digital Services and Engineering to ensure the consistent quality of the video products and services available to all of Altice USA video subscribers. This includes troubleshooting issues and supporting the resolution of escalations to the Video product group as well as identifying root cause issues and working through solutions with business partners. Additionally, the Content Specialist supports channel lineup changes (additions, deletions, moves), contingency planning for programming outages and maintains the channel line-up database. The Specialist also manages content blackout and overflow process and prepares documentation related to product launches and Video product changes.











Bachelors degree in Marketing or other applicable field of study
Minimum two years experience with video content management or operations
Minimum two years experience in the cable or highly regulated industry in a product management or operations role
On Demand and/or Linear content management experience with a Major Cable or Satellite provider, Network, OTT service or content aggregator is highly preferred
Working knowledge of industry standard content and metadata specs
Industry knowledge/general awareness of trends and market differentiators/competitive landscape
Basic understanding of video technology platform/video-ecosystem
Strong project management capabilities
Experience in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
Basic partner, client or vendor management experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
