Telecom & Internet Analyst

The Telecom Analyst position will have a primary focus of managing and analyzing data. Responsibilities will include developing reports to verify systems are all in sync. This position will also be responsible for database administration, carrier porting rules/escalations, telephone number inventory, etc. Monitor and maintain databases to ensure there is sufficient inventory to meet marketing/sales objectives for any required rate center within our footprint. Develops monthly reports of rate center utilization on a rolling 12 month period. Analyzes exception reports and work withinternal departments to correct data. Reviews, validates and submits payment authorization forms for directory listings and other telecom related services. Files necessary disputes or issue disconnects as needed. Performs analysis comparing tariffs, contracts and agreements to services invoiced, ensuring all prices are current and correct. Interacts and coordinates with internal and external contacts on a daily basis. Writes process/policies for use by the department and identifies ways to improve existing methods. Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned. o Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Related Field or combination of education and experience o Minimum 5 years relevant experience in business analysis role o Ability to write complex SQL queries o Ability to analyze issues within the database and be able to fix it within SQL o Experience in data mining, querying/accessing large data sets and developing key business reports and metrics o Telecommunications background o Understanding of telecom provisioning and wireless rules, products and services o Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office capabilities (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point) o Strong communications skills, both verbal and written and the ability to determine the proper medium of communication based on the issues at hand We are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Vet and maintain a drug-free and smoke-free workplace. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
